Associate Program Manager


The Associate Program Manager is a career track program management position responsible for providing support in one or more key areas of Questar’s large scale assessment programs. A key responsibility will be to successfully deliver portions of projects according to the defined scope and timeline.  The Associate Program Manager will collaborate with Questar Program Management and cross-functional teams, as required.

Activities may include schedule management, committee meeting logistical support, as well as participating in cross-functional planning and team, client, and committee meetings.


  • Provide exceptional high-touch customer service to internal and external clients
  • Ensure deadlines are being met by project team and client
  • Manage to project timelines according to scope
  • Communicate continually with internal team members regarding status of program
  • Ensure client deliverables/assets are being submitted and organized
  • Contribute to solution discussions as necessary for programs and projects
  • Independently manage designated portions of client programs, as assigned


  • BS/BA degree in a relevant discipline


  • Minimum 2 years of business experience, which may include internships or relevant university experience
  • Strong knowledge of Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
  • Experience in the education, assessment, or technology industries strongly preferred


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage time across multiple projects
  • Proven organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage own schedule
  • Ability to travel nationally as required
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future
